West Woods Club House

The West Woods Golf Clubhouse is located at 6655 Quaker Street.The existing clubhouse opened, along with West Woods Golf Club, in June, 1994.West Woods Golf Club is approximately 300 acres and annually serves more than 100,000 golfers and restaurant users.A new remodeled and expanded clubhouse would utilize the same footprint as the existing clubhouse, with expansion to the north and west.
In April of 2015, the Arvada City Council approved a resolution authorizing an agreement by and between the City of Arvada and Z-Design Group, LLC, for Architectural Planning and Design Services related to the West Woods Golf Clubhouse and a financial feasibility study by THK and Associates. The resolution represented the initial step in support of the City Council’s strategic result that the West Woods Golf Clubhouse and related facilities be replaced by December 2019.
On March 20, 2017 City Council approved the construction contract for the project. Construction is currently underway with many impressive features coming to life. To follow our progress, please make sure to check out our website at arvada.org.
The Clubhouse itself will have a “Refined Colorado Mountain" style with large areas of glass to provide views from the bar and restaurant. The entrance to the Golf Shop will be closer to the entry drive and will house a larger shop for the golfer’s needs. A Golf Simulator will be a new feature where golfers will be able to improve their game with training from golf professionals.
The Restaurant, Bar, and Grill will have a new feature to add to the excellent dining experience - a new bar designed to be a lively, energetic place. The dining environment will cater to event groups with a banquet area for small events and a Multipurpose Room for flexible use. A covered outdoor dining area will provide additional seating.
The Golfers Porch will be a new amenity which will be used for restaurant dining, providing panoramic views of the golf course and mountains. An Overlook Patio designed with the feel of a roof terrace will allow guests to kick up their feet next to the fire pit.
The Golf areas will incorporate a new short game practice area and will have expanded driving range tees. Layout and flow of golf cart paths will also be improved.
The parking lot will increase the current capacity of 195 cars to 221 cars. Trees will be planted along the southern edge to complete the beauty of the project.
The current clubhouse facility lacks kitchen space for meal preparation. The clubhouse is limited in the size of events hosted which impacts the revenue stream. Storage for golf carts and supplies is also inadequate.
